Privacy policy

Who we are
This policy covers Capo Customs (ABN 31 337 275 367) and this website. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in how we handle your information.
What we collect
Only what we need to quote, sell and deliver: your name, phone, email, business name and ABN (for trade), delivery address, vehicle details, what you ordered or asked about, and messages you send us. If you pay online, Stripe collects your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To quote, process and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
- To check fitment and source parts for your car.
- To run trade accounts and keep our records (including tax records).
- To send news and offers, only if you've agreed. Every marketing email or SMS has an unsubscribe option.
Who we share it with
We share only what's needed to get your order done: our payment processor (Stripe), freight carriers, and the factories and suppliers that make or ship your goods. Some of these are overseas, mainly in China and the United States. We give suppliers only the details they need, such as a delivery address or vehicle spec. We don't sell your information.
Cookies
This site uses one essential cookie to keep your session and checkout secure. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this page first.
Storage and security
Your information is stored with our website host and our email and payment providers, whose servers may be outside Australia. The site runs over HTTPS, admin access is restricted, and we keep records only as long as we need them for your orders and our legal obligations.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Contact capocustomgc@gmail.com or 0434 500 460. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a privacy matter, tell us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
